27th September

Text ; Jeremiah 33; 1-11
KJV:Thus saith the Lord; Again there shall be heard in this place, which ye say shall be desolate without man and without beast, even in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem, that are desolate, without man, and without inhabitant, and without beast,
KJV:The voice of joy, and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom, and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say, Praise the Lord of hosts: for the Lord is good; for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring the sacrifice of praise into the house of the Lord. For I will cause to return the captivity of the land, as at the first, saith the Lord. Jer. 33: 10,11
Happiness flows easily when good things happen, celebration follows breakthrough and success while sorrow follows disappointment and failure. No one prays to be sad, unpleasant situations give room for unpleasant mood but good news is here for every child of God. Let me ask you this question before l proceed, how do you feel when you’re in need and a friend calls, saying ‘send your account details, l will send you a good amount of money?’ Of course you feel happy the moment you receives the call, even when you’ve not got the money. If you rejoice at a man’s word why won’t you rejoice at God’s word?
Verse 10 of our passage refers to a desolate life, where nothing is working and there is no reason for joy, verse 11 declares God’s intention for the desolate land, life, before now there was no reason for joy but God is saying now ‘there shall be the voice of joy, gladness, voice of them that shall say, praise the LORD of host. God is raising His people from circumstances that do not allow praise, He is bringing you out of things that weary your soul, that burden your heart, He is setting you loose from every heaviness of heart so that you can be free to praise His name.
This is His promise for us and He will definitely do it. Rejoice at this word of God because what He said He will do. He is raising you out of every unpleasant situation, going forward sorrow, pains, and every other thing that does not call for celebration will be far from you. Out of you shall proceed praises to the almighty.
UNDERSTAND THIS
* You are rising from every unpleasant situation.
* Your life is meant for praise and not sorrow.
* God is raising you as His praise singer.
* You are to declare His praise always.
PRAYER:
– I walk out of every unpleasant situation (make sure you’re walking as you pray this prayer point)
– Everything that will not allow me to praise God is destroyed by fire.
– My life and my mouth shall be filled with the praises of the almighty.
