Text : Proverbs 2;1-22
AMP:For the Lord gives skillful and godly Wisdom; from His mouth come knowledge and understanding.
AMP:He hides away sound and godly Wisdom and stores it for the righteous (those who are upright and in right standing with Him); He is a shield to those who walk uprightly and in integrity, Prov. 2;6,7
Everyone who wants to be relevant in life seeks wisdom, the bible refers to it as the principal thing. Wisdom is a guide to everyone who finds it, it’s the roadmap of every successful man, no one succeeds without wisdom. Where 100 men with effort, without wisdom labour rigorously, a man endowed with wisdom will achieve success with ease. It’s absolutely impossible for a man to succeed without wisdom.
See proverbs 2:7 ‘He (God) hides away sound and godly wisdom and stores it for the righteous….’ it occurs to me that God hides sound wisdom from sinners and those who are not in right standing with Him, everyone who desires this kind of wisdom must be in right standing with God, God hides it from sinners but keeps, reserves, and gives it to the righteous. A sinner might appear successful before men but such success don’t last, those who appear successful through devilish wisdom die with their wealth and riches and after a short while they are not remembered anymore.
The word of God is clear, if you desire wisdom to fulfil your dreams and God’s purpose for your life you must have right standing with God.
