PREVAILING VOICE DAILY
9th September
Topic: 3 KINDS OF GENERATION Part II (The Generation of Abel)
Text: Genesis 4:1-8 (KJV)
2 And she again bare his brother Abel. And
Abel was a keeper of sheep, but Cain was a
tiller of the ground.
8 And Cain talked with Abel his brother: and
it came to pass, when they were in the field,
that Cain rose up against Abel his brother,
and slew him.
The generation of Abel are a generation of victim of evil occurrence. In our text, Abel was a victim of Cain’s jealousy, his life was cut short and destiny terminated just because his brother Cain was jealous while Cain still lived many years after(though God cursed him) and he had children, I pray may you not become a victim of jealousy in Jesus Name.
King David was the one who sinned according to 1 Chronicles 21:1-17 but it was the children of Israel that suffered for it, 70,000 Israelites died being victims of David’s carelessness, they were 70,000 souls, 70,000 destinies. You could imagine what the future would hold for these 70,000 Israelites if they had not died like chickens. But David their King who sinned repented, he remained King till he died and had many children, what an irony of life. I pray in the name that is above every other name, that you will not be a victim of evil circumstances.
I cannot forget about a thousand souls who died in January 2002 Lagos Nigeria bomb explosion, they were victims of circumstance because the required authority failed to prevent such unnecessary explosion. I pray that God will keep you far away from evil in Jesus Name.
PRAYER
1. As for me and my household we will not be victims of evil circumstances in Jesus Name
2. I will not fall victim of another man’s evil, jealousy, carelessness, greediness and selfishness in Jesus Name
3. I decree that all things will work together for my good in Jesus Name
