PREVAILING VOICE DAILY 23rd August 2015
Topic: THE PRICELESS SOUL
Text: Mark 8:36-37 King James Version (KJV)
36. For what shall it profit a man, if he shall
gain the whole world, and lose his own
soul?
37. Or what shall a man give in exchange for
his soul?
The soul of a man is priceless and much more valuable than what money can buy. The text above clearly explain if a man was to engage his soul in business, even if he sold his soul to have the entire world including the wealth of nations, treasures, assets, and everything you can think of in this world, it would have been a business without profit.
I once heard a Preacher who tried to explain the cost of the soul of man according the text above, he said if everything in the world were sold that is the houses, cars, companies, all the wealth of all nations of the world including the stolen funds, frozen funds etc it will not be enough to purchase one soul. Mark 8:37 Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul.
Dearly beloved, with what have you traded or are you trading your soul? Why sell yourself so cheap to the devil when Christ paid with His blood to redeem you. Does it worth it? Think about it honestly and sincerely.
If you have not accepted Jesus Christ, I plead with you do so today and you will never be the same again. John 1:12, Acts 3:19
PRAYER:
1. Father in every way I have failed and disappoint heaven, have mercy on me
2. Save me from every captivity of the world and the devil over my soul
3. I receive strength not to give up in the midst of challenges in Jesus Name
