Topic: ONE THING ABOUT GOD
Text : Hebrews 11; 1-12
AMP:But without faith it is impossible to
please and be satisfactory
to Him. For whoever would come near to
God must [necessarily] believe
that God exists and that He is the rewarder
of those who earnestly and
diligently seek Him [out]. Hebrews 11: 6
God is supreme and number in the
universe, He sets standard for
everyone He gives guideline and pattern for
our lives, He can do
without us but we can’t do without Him so
it absolutely important we
please Him, a good worker gives all
diligence to please His boss we
all need to do much more to get God’s
approval.
Many don’t understand one total truth
about God this is found in our
golden text today, everyone who seeks him
must know that He rewards
those who earnestly and diligently seek
Him, a patient and carefully
search of God, waiting patiently for Him to
act or answer you. I love
the yoruba interpretation of diligence
(farabale) it’s mean patience,
wait, carefully search, it’s like when a need
drops on the floor in
the night and your light is not very bright
yet you are searching
believing you’ll definitely see it though it
takes time that’s
diligence. Diligence means working with
care and effort, we’re to seek
Him like no other thing to do, Job said
‘though He smite me yet will l
seek Him’ no other place to go. This
understanding brought me this far
in life; ‘if God refuses to do it, going other
places will worsen
matter’ and when God sees our sincerity
with Him He definitely answer.
Therefore dearly beloved let’s give all it
takes get God’s approval,
carefully wait for Him in place of prayer,
seek Him with your
lifestyle. God bless you real good do have a
great day.
