Topic; OUR GREATEST ASSET
KJV:I rejoice at thy word, as one that findeth
great spoil. Psalm 119;162
Spoil is the proceed from war, no country
initiate war when she is not
sure of spoil, for instance the war in our
contemporary time took
place in wealthy countries blessed with oil
i.e the war in Kuwait,
Iran, Iraq war, war in Libya. People who
initiated those war knew
there is a great spoil available during and
after war. It is the
reward of conquering a nation, people or
territory, Spoil is the
wealth of a conquered nation taken over by
the conqueror. David
conquered many war as a warrior, he never
lost one, he did enjoy great
spoil of war. After every war the victorious
army starts serious
celebration; singing, chanting, rejoicing etc.
So when the Palmist
(David) said ‘l rejoice at your word, as one
that finds great spoil’
he meant he has great joy at the word of
God, he knew that the best
thing that can happen to a man is that he
receives God’s word with
great delight. God Himself treasures His
word, that’s the only thing
that stand forever, no wonder Jesus said
KJV:It is written, Man shall
not live by bread alone, but by every word
that proceedeth out of the
mouth of God Matt. 4;4.
The greatest thing any man can possess is
God’s word reason is because
that is the guide into our destiny, it’s also
the guide to eternal
life. If you have nothing and God’s word
abides in you in a short
while great will be your achievement.
UNDERSTAND THIS
1, God’s word can produce anything e.g
wealth, health, comfort etc.
2, His word can turn your life around
3, Great delight at God’s word brings
greatness
4, your word-level (amount of God’s word in
you) determines your faith
level while your faith level determines your
next level
So beloved stop running after shadows give
time to study of God’s word
and live by it.

1, Lord give me great delight at your word
2, Write your laws in my heart
3, Grant me the understanding of your
word
4, Grace to obey your word always grant
unto me..
